Class 3S- Class Teacher: Miss Smith

Welcome to 3S' class page. On this page you will find useful information over the year; if you can think of anything else you would like to see please let me know.

Please can your children have a PE kit in school on Wednesdays (for indoor PE) and Thursdays (for outdoor PE). You will need a T-shirt & shorts for indoor lessons and a trainers for outdoor lessons. You may also like a pair of track suit trousers & jumpers for outdoor lessons.

Homework:

It is expected that you will:

• Read daily for at least 10 minutes.

   

• Learn your weekly spelling lists; it might help to write them out each day, sound them out to a family member, read them once a day or you may have a different way of learning them.

   

• Learning times tables; start by learning them in order saying the whole sentence (1 x 2 = 2, 2 x 2 = 4 etc) then recalling them again in a random order again saying the whole sentence out each time. You could say them as you walk to & from school or in the bath.

   

• A piece of literacy or maths homework will be set on Friday afternoons and will be expected to hand in on Monday morning.
