Annual Performance Review

• Teachers should complete a self-review before the meeting with your reviewer.
• Reviewers need to complete a Review Statement, relating to the current year, and an Objectives Template, relating to the year ahead.

Threshold Application

The application form used to 2008 is no longer obligatory. 2009 is a transition year but there are interim forms for school use that can be used for both 2008-9 and from 2009-10. The main difference is that, up to 2007-8 applicants had to show that they had met the standards for two years. From 2009 they may rely on their last Annual performance Review and show details on the form for ONE year. Applications cannot be considered if the teacher has not had two successful annual reviews in the past two years.

UPS1 to 2 and UPS2 to 3

Application forms for movement from UP1 to 2 and UP2 to 3 have been revised against the new (september 2007) Standards, as have the UP2 and UP3 criteria sheets. They may all be downloaded below.
